Official Governance & Financial Framework
Definitions
Purpose of Certification
GMT certification reflects documented compliance with defined standards at the time of review. Certification does not guarantee future performance, clinical outcomes, or replace governmental licensing. It constitutes independent attestation, not a warranty. GMT acts solely as a certification body and does not assume regulatory or supervisory functions reserved for public authorities.
Financial Terms & Conditions
The following financial terms apply to all applicants and certified institutions participating in Global Medical Trust certification programs.

Application fees are non-refundable.
Payment of the application fee permits eligibility screening, preliminary review, scope determination, and conflict-of-interest clearance. Payment does not guarantee certification approval.
2. Certification Fees
Certification fees are invoiced according to the agreed payment schedule outlined in the formal certification agreement.
Certification is granted only following successful evaluation and documented compliance with applicable standards.
Failure to meet compliance requirements does not entitle the applicant institution to any refund of application or certification fees.

On-site assessment travel and accommodation costs are invoiced separately and are the responsibility of the applicant institution.
Such costs may include, but are not limited to:

Virtual assessments, where applicable, are included within the program fee range unless otherwise specified in the certification agreement.
4. Renewal & Scope Modifications

Substantial institutional changes, expanded services, additional campuses, or material governance modifications may require supplemental evaluation fees.
Renewal fees are determined based on institutional scope at the time of renewal review.
5. Currency & Payment Responsibility
All fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified in writing.
Taxes, withholding obligations, currency conversion charges, and international banking or transfer fees are the responsibility of the applicant institution.
