Established FrameworkIndependent EvaluationPublic Registry

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Verification Policy is to establish the framework governing the public verification of certification status issued by Global Medical Trust (GMT).

This policy defines:

  • How certification status is validated
  • What information is disclosed in the public registry
  • How third parties may confirm certification
  • How suspected misuse or fraud is reported

GMT maintains a structured public verification system to promote transparency, institutional accountability, and public trust.

2. Public Verification Registry

GMT operates an official Public Verification Registry accessible through its website. The Registry enables verification of active certification status for institutions evaluated under GMT standards. Each certified entity is assigned a unique Certification Identification Number (Certification ID).

The Registry may include:

  • Legal name of certified entity
  • Country of operation
  • Certification category
  • Certification level
  • Certification ID
  • Effective date
  • Expiration date
  • Status (Active, Suspended, Revoked, Expired)

The Registry reflects certification status as of the date of search.

3. Scope of Verification

Verification confirms only:

  • That the institution holds active GMT certification
  • The certification level granted
  • The approved scope evaluated
  • The validity period

Verification does not:

  • Guarantee clinical outcomes
  • Replace governmental licensing
  • Confirm regulatory compliance beyond the scope evaluated
  • Extend to individual practitioners unless separately certified

4. Certification ID Structure

Each Certification ID is uniquely generated and corresponds to:

  • Certified entity
  • Category of certification
  • Issuance year
  • Sequential identification number

Certification IDs are non-transferable and apply exclusively to the evaluated entity and approved scope.

5. Status Definitions

ActiveCertification is valid within the stated validity period.
SuspendedCertification has been temporarily restricted pending review or corrective action.
RevokedCertification has been formally withdrawn following non-compliance determination.
ExpiredCertification validity period has lapsed without renewal.

GMT reserves the right to update status at its discretion in accordance with the Terms of Certification.

6. Third‑Party Verification Requests

Third parties seeking formal confirmation beyond public registry data may submit written verification inquiries to:

verification@globalmedicaltrust.org

GMT may require:

  • Certification ID
  • Legal entity name
  • Purpose of verification request

Additional documentation may be provided at GMT's discretion and subject to confidentiality limitations.

7. Reporting Misuse or Fraud

GMT maintains a zero‑tolerance policy regarding fraudulent representation of certification status. Suspected misuse includes:

  • Unauthorized use of the GMT Certification Mark
  • Display of expired or revoked certification
  • Misrepresentation of certification scope
  • Alteration of official certificates

Reports of suspected misuse may be submitted to:

legal@globalmedicaltrust.org

GMT reserves the right to:

  • Initiate formal investigation
  • Suspend or revoke certification
  • Issue public notice of revocation
  • Pursue legal enforcement where applicable

8. Limitations

The Public Verification Registry reflects certification status at the time of query. GMT does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the registry system. Verification data is limited to certification status and does not disclose proprietary institutional documentation.

9. Policy Amendments

GMT reserves the right to amend this Verification Policy. Updated versions supersede prior versions upon publication.
